Area covered by the practice
You can register with the practice if you live within our boundary area. This covers parts of postcodes NE33 and NE34 which includes Tyne Dock, Whiteleas, Biddick Hall, West Harton and Simonside. If you aren’t sure if your address is covered please ask at reception.
If you register with Farnham Medical Partners you must complete a GMS1 form. Please see below for the information sheet given to new patients
Once you have registered and had your initial health check you do not have to see the GP you are registered with but can choose any of the GPs at the practice.
Branch closure
The practice plans to close the branch site at Stanhope Parade early 2022. Many of our patients are already aware we have not used the premises since March 2020. Even before then, the premises were not fully utilized. Closing this site means we are able to afford extra clinical resources such as expanding our clinical team to meet our patients’ health needs and reduce waiting times.
